Luminics Ultra Violet DRL Pics?

they turned off instantly?
did you have the ignition on or the lights on some how when you were in the process of installing them?
most of us wouldn't be able to see where we're putting the light into as the hood has such tight spaces.. i think we'll all some how touch the sides of the housing some how.. but i don't think ppl mentioned anything about fuses in the DIY. although they do recommend removing the car battery.. perhaps that's the same thing?

hey big~ Synetix pointed out in my other thread that i shouldn't use the krypton series as it'll give off an extreme amount of heat when using high beams
and at times, since i'm driving on rural roads, my high beams may be on for a few mins.. don't wanna risk burning anything in the car
now i'm gonna do a bit more research on the ultra violet color before buying the JDM yellow!
seriously! are there no IS on this forum with the ultra violet color bulb as DRLs??
please post a pic! even if its to find out that the violet bulb is really just stock yellow when running in DRL!

just to let u guys know i was in a hurry and forgot to take comparison pics Not only that i got excited that now i had a chance to change out the LEDS that i had bought 3 years ago and just never got to them LMAO
well here are the pics, i did take a real quick look at the stock and Luminics and there is a slight difference in color. The Luminics are more deep yellow than the stocks.
this is with the IP4's HDR adjustment

lol alrite i'm back in the chatroom!
glad other members have come in to join! although it's not the first time members have changed the DRLs (actually it's a pretty common and boring mod, but for big and i, its pretty exciting cause it's a new mod for us!)
good job on the change big! i can see it is quite a bit more yellow than stock!
so how did you replace the bulbs?
did you have to remove the air filter box?
i guess removing the windshield fluid tube was a must right?
you left the battery connected?
good job bro! glad you got it done and congrats on finally removing parts yourself!
it'll be a start to more DIY modding for you!

Welcome back!!
hahahaha yes this simple mod made me feel like a kid again, not only that proud that i did it myself. I use to do these simple thing on my Durango when i had it and it was waaay easier.
well it was quite simple, it helps alot when ur doing this with ample day light LOL I didnt have to remove the filter, just had to suck it up and work with the tight area. Yes i did remove the windshield washer tube. It was very simple, unscrew the one nut and pull the tube and it pops right off. I left the batter connected. I did have a lil problem with the LED since i didnt know if i had to twist or pull on it. In the end i twisted it and it came right out.
Yea man im glad also, that DIY video helped me out. You see i need to see what i have to face b4 i dive in.
Now all i got left to install are these Hella Horns
