I hear ya...they told me to come back in a few days after my recent oil change to have the TSB done. Well I read through the bulletin that someone posted and it states near the bottom that the Top Engine Clean requires 2 oil changes as part of the clean. Well I didn't feel the need for 3 oil changes within one week so i just told them I would call when it was due for another oil change....it only makes sense.

I just had this procedure done on my GS. On my paperwork, it only shows that they used 6 units of oil. I'm in Canada though, and the TSB came out quite a while later than the one in the US so it's possible they modified it to use only one oil change.
Noticed my exhaust has a slightly sweet smell after I picked it up and drove home, I suppose it's just some residual "AC Delco" cleaner getting burned away.

^ I would bet that it is just a typo'. I did the top clean myself recently. The oil gets very dirty due to this cleaning and has to be changed twice. Unless they are doing something totally different. idk?
FWIW - I used the cheapest Walmart oil that I could for the middle change. You add new oil and run the car for 15min+. I was amazed at how black and smelly is was when I removed it. Then added my good oil along with the filter change.

Everything else is on there...
Gasket, oil filter, AC Delco (GM) cleaner, but 6 oil units which is only good for one oil change. I did actually look at my dipstick after the service and the oil was super clean and translucent on the stick. I couldn't tell much because it was dark out but I didn't notice the car smoking at all on my drive home, they definitely did use a bunch of my gas though since I dropped it off nearly empty and picked it up with the fuel warning light on.
