i purchased IS250 a month ago with 13,000 miles. i've had 2 tire blow outs on driver side front wheel. first one was out of dealership. thought it was bad luck. both blow outs occurred on highway. bridgestone potenza tires. had car serviced to check out rims. said everything looked good. any ideas??

 

did they do an alignment?

I popped my front driver side tire as well sunday night. Michelin ps2's on f sport rims. Potholes suck.

 

yep, popped my pole positions 2 nights ago :/...sucks, im just glad it didnt damage my new rims...being dropped without a chamber kit sucks haha

 

going to pick up today. hopefully they did alignment.

The IS comes from the factory a little heavy on the toe. Did you examine the tire at all after they blew out? Alignments are especially critical on the IS. If the inside edge of the tire was worn down, you know what to do.

My stock Dunlops were destroyed at speed this summer for this reason. save yourself some cash and get the alignment.
