'07 IS 350 Power door lock not working on driver rear door.
I bought my 2007 Lexus IS 350 last year used from a dealership and found out that the drivers side rear door power door lock does not work. I have just dealt with it the last year but now I'm tired of manually locking it. It is not under warranty.
The Key Fob and the Auto lock/unlock control inside the vehicle locks and unlocks all the doors except the drivers side rear door. For this door I have to manually lock it by flipping the switch.
Does anybody know what the problem may be and how can I fix it myself?
Also can someone please tell me how to remove that door panel. I wanted to make sure all the wires were connected but didn't want to ruin the door in the process.
Please help me if you can, thank you so much!!

U can take out the door panel and check, just pop out the window switch panel, unplug, take out screw, take out piece of plastic behind inner door handle, use ur fingers, then take out screw, then grab the bottom side of the door panel and pull, it's all clips so it just pops out, then lift up to unclip the window part, unplug the wires and ur done...btw u sure ur child lock switch isn't on?

It happens to me. Rear driver door auto lock and unlock not working anymore. I haven't have any free time to check it out.
I just wonder that anyone else have this problem and how you fixed it. Thanks

I am having this exact problem except that it is with the passenger side front door lock (even more inconvenient due to it's frequent need to be locked/unlocked). My Lexus to date has been quite the let-down in terms of quality/reliability.
I was going to replace it myself since the car is now out of bumper to bumper warranty and Lexus wants about $575 to replace it (the driver's side front has already been replaced under warranty). However, after watching the following video (this repair video is for a GS, because I could not find a vid on an IS), I have decided that maybe it isn't worth the hassle to attempt the repair myself...
