Is the AWD badge standard on an AWD?
I have had my IS250 for almost 2 months now and I started noticing around the area and here on the forums IS's with an AWD badge on the back..
My IS250 is a 2008 AWD but there is no badge on the back.. I know its an AWD because it shows up on the vin search and because its harder than the standard RWD to break traction with (I have driven a few of the RWD models)..
I was just curious if that was an After market badge or if thats something they only put on newer years or something..
Also if someone can point me to a place to get a badge for my car that would rock.

No, the AWD badge comes with the car - all years from 2006 - current.
Does your car have four 17" wheels with all tires the same size? Is there a bump intruding into the drivers footwell?

yep that annoying bump is there..(I know what your talking about)
and my wheels are 17" front and back..
I had my car in the shop for about a week for some stuff and had a 2010 IS250 RWD as a loaner and was just noticing how easy it was to set off the traction control light when turning out of a parking lot at full throttle.. My car wont do that.. it just *goes*

quite possibly it was involved in an accident and the body shop never replaced that badge. I've seen that many times.
And to check if it's awd, just look under the front for AXLES going into the front hubs, lol.
