Cool...can anyone confirm they are same stuff. I mean are they the same quality (I know they not lexus OEM, but there are cheap JDM and decent JDM stuff).

Yeap, you do have it. But you won't lose your auto dimming feature. It's built into the mirror not the side mirror shell. If you buy the 09+ mirror make sure you're only gettng the outter shell that's all you need. You don't need the whole mirror.
Same thing if you buy the EBay side mirrors I have. It's just a shell not the whole mirror assembly.

No offense to Nigel, but I compared my side mirror I bought off fleabay for $80+ to his crazy high priced side mirrors and guess what. Exact same mirror. The same number on the inside panel and everything. Nigels price is crazy. Although his price apparently includes painting. My ebay mirror shells came upainted. I took them to my local painter and he quoted $40 to paint. So I still saved an butt load of money
I doubt they are gonna sell you just the shells on the 09 ones, specially Sewell or any other Lexus dealers for what it's worth. You can try a junk yard instead, better luck there.
Yeah...this thread was originally about the 09 mirrors, but morphed into about just getting covers for the 06-08 mirrors since they can be had for so much cheaper. Still looking for a ebay link.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The 09 is different in size comparing to the 06-08 models, so definitely no swapping the shell will work even if you were able to get it, sorry.

I remember those signal covers. The fitment turned out to be way off for '06-'08 ISx50s. The vendor was super shady (e.g. refusing to let me visit his shop, which was 5 miles from my office) and got all defensive when members started posting about the subpar quality of his mirror covers.
