You should be fine. In fact, waiting til the tank is almost empty has its downfalls. Gasoline isnt filtered at the station. And dirt and other debris get pumped into the tank as well. The debis tend to sink to the bottom and can pontentially get sucked into the engine when you wait til its empty to fill. But i guess thats what fuel filters are for.

doesnt really matter. but u should try and use up as much gas as possible before filling up to prevent old gas lingering in your tank. so i try to do that atleast once a month. let it go to e before filling up,

In my cheapness, I go to Empty just so I'm driving around with a lighter load. Equates to better mpg's. Or at least in my head.

Its actually better to fill it up before it gets too low so you dont risk your fuel pump sucking up impurities in the gas tank...

I always keep my gas between empty and 1/8th full so I usually end up refueling 3-4 times a week. Less gas weight = moar speed! j/k, fill up whenever you want to. The design of the 2IS fuel pump is sophisticated enough that running on empty shouldn't be an issue.

I even tried filling only half a tank for a while = less load

I usually fill up when I have a 1/4 of a tank left. I like keeping liquid in there to keep my fuel pump cool and lubricated. I heard that in the winter you should fill up at half to keep moisture from forming inside the gas tank.. not sure if its true or not.
