So I went to formula drift last week and I spotted this IS which I believe it's johnnyboy's ride. I feel in love with that color! I swear I try to see his car in pictures everyday. Haha but anyways I own a 98 prelude as my DD and I wanna paint my Lude that color. So my question is does anyone know what the color code is and what it's called? I PM'd him and I hope he chimes in. Badass color and IS!!!! He did a great job.

That's Midnight Purple from the R33 and R34 GT-R - the car belongs to CL member johnnyboy, member of Team Ar-kan (one of the hottest show teams on the west coast)

It's wierd tho. It's midnight purple like a skyline but skylines color changes in the sun to greens blues, and oranges but his doesn't so that y I thought it was different. Plus his purple looks deeper in color than the skyline.

 

midnight purple is what he has listed under his sig, so imma have to agree its midnight purple

it doesnt shift cause that color is Midnight Purple 3, there's 1 2 and 3, i have 2, so it doesn't shift colors

So it's just LV4 with added sparkle or anything? I'm just paranoid that if I paint it it would come out bright purple and not a sparkly as yours haha.
