IMO ... pretty bad. Just look at the scores...

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....utoModClar=RWD

(out of 10):
6.3 hydroplaning resistance
6.1 wet traction
3.9 treadwear

Compared to michelin pilot sport (OEM 18" sizing)

7.8 hydroplaning resistance
8.0 wet traction
5.6 treadwear

The Turnzas did NOT get "superior" in any one of the categories while the michelins got 3 (and NONE below "excellent").

I have Pilot Sport 2s and love them. Can't wait for PS3s

Just got some Kumho Ecsta ASX all seasons (got a awesome price). Anyone try these out on their IS? Haven't had the chance to put them on. The Potenzas on my wheels are already bald.

This is my theory also.

The turdranzas on my wifes IS350 are horrible. This is the second set we have had to buy and the rear tires wear down in the inner part of the tire about 1/4 inch about 4x as fast as the rest of the tire. Its an 08 the dealer says its just how the tire wears and thats its because of the aggressive stance of the car. I'm throwing my BS flag on that one. Anyone else have this problem?

Replaced my OEM Potenza RE92 with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ and very happy with the handling and quietness on dry and wet pavement. I live in central Indiana.

I never realized how crappy the OEM turanza's were until I replaced them a few weeks ago. I'm in Chicago so I went with the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. The Michelin's are quieter, have great grip and are designed to last a lot longer than the turanza's. I got about 21K miles with the OEM tires.

18,500 on my OEM Potenzas and they were "legally bald". Just had some snow here (Indianapolis area) and my new Michelin's are wonderful.

I need new tires and still cant decide.. I need some help!! My OEM Bridgestone Turanzas ER33 lasted me 35K and I thought were really quiet and comfy. Almost want to get them again but they are the most expensive tire out of all..

Here are my priorities

1. Ride Comfort
2. Noise
3. Handling
4. Wet/dry traction

I have Snow tires so I do not care about winter..
I do live in Chicago where the roads are terrible, thats why I care so much about ride comfort, plus I am in my car all day for work so another reason why comfort is such a priority...

Money is no object!
