Use or Not Use The Module? V-LEDS Advises Not To Use It
I'm confused because on v-led's site it says (http://tinyurl.com/2c688yk
): "Do not use this bulb directly with our DRL module it may cause issues with some Lexus vehicles. Use one 9005_DRL_MODULE and one HID_RELAY_HARNESS"
Anyone try this route or is everyone using the module? I wonder what issues they are having with it.

There used to be a 68 led DRL, and what you need are two DRL modules (one on each side to connect to the bulb directly) to eliminate flickering. This is what i have, and everything fits inside the light housing.
But the 68 led has been discontinued. Right now on the website they only have the 28 high power led, which is what you linked, and for that one, they recommend using one DRL module and one relay harness. i don't like this one because based on what people say, you need to drill a hole in the light housing lid for the relay to come out so that it can be connected to the battery.
But in either case, you would need the module.
i think there's gonna be a new type coming out (doesn't seem to be on the website yet) that isn't high power, so it should be just like the old 68 led, and all you need are two DRL modules.

yeah it's confusing because there are two types of v-leds that people are probably using, and they aren't stating in their replies which one.

Also guess my Highbeams will be non-existent as well. There would be no harm turning them on by accident?
