Me too, 62k miles, 2006, warranty work just completed, bought car brand new, did not have extended warranty. you got what i would have liked to have. instead i got: extended powertrain warranty (didn't want then, don't want now) and $1,500 (worthless) voucher.

Apparently, the insurance regulator in the state of Florida will not allow Lexus USA to extend the power train warranty to 6 years/100,000 miles....Does anybody knows anything about this??

got my valve spring recall done today. took about 1 week at lexus of Westminster they treat you right. my service adviser Pete is very knowledgeable and professional.

1. got a new battery under warrenty
2. got new spark plugs put in for free just paid for parts since im doing the valve spring recall anyways.
3. got free tank of gas.

little perks for being in and out of the dealer so much in the past year.

I got my recall notice earlier this month and I just received my $1500k voucher and extended warranty.

I have scheduled my valve spring recall for next month

I will call lexus to see if I can get the $500gc too lol

just got my car back from the dealership for the valve spring recall.
little rant: I didn't get any coupon for future services nor a good car wash, it's still dirty!, i did not get a tank of gas, i actually got less, went in with a 1/4 tank got it back almost empty (20 miles left) .

I notice that my break seem a lot more responsive, is it just me getting used too the ES loaner, or does some one else experience this. haven't had time to test drive the car since it's snowing pretty hard. will update later.

I got the $1500 voucher and the extended warranty which is worthless because I already had the 7 yr 100k bumper to bumper coverage from LFS..... O well.....

question after the valve spring do i need to get a oil change???? i just check my oil levels and it just seems really dark. instead of the black with a hint of brown.. with my mobil one oil...

Should I call my lexus dealer or the lexus corporate for the certificates? I got a pedal recall done couple of months ago, but I have not recieved any letters that addressed the 1500 couple and the 500 GC? Can anyone give me the lexus corporates phone number that I should speak with? Thanks!

Could somebody summarize the 19 pages of this thread and tell me what perks come with the valve spring recall? What's required to get the $1500 coupon or the $500 coupon or the extended warranty?

Call your dealer and schedule an appointment. The rest will fall into place. That easy.

My dealer is all backed up for at least two months so I haven't even scheduled my work yet, but I have already received the $1500 cert (end October) and last week received the $500 gift card. If someone hasn't received any notice by this time it would seem your car isn't affected.

I got my $500 gift card yesterday. I was able to order stuff from v-LEDs.com with the card But I tried it today at Macy's and the grocery store and it was denied It appears to surely be locked to Lexus dealerships, except v-leds as well

damn 19 pages! I just made an appointment with the dealer today. Can anyone give me the summary of the *bonus*? does the car have to be under warranty and if the gift card would be in the mail or the dealer will give it to you?

how long did it take you guys after getting the $1000 letter? I got my letter nov 5th, and still no $500 gc... I called last night and the lady wasnt very helpful, and just said to give it a few more weeks
