Me letter didn't even mention a gift card but I did get the $1,500 certificate. The letter arrived about 3.5 weeks after the work was done.

I believe you get the gift card if you have an extended warranty or the extra 30k miles added to your powertrain warranty (6yr/100k) if you don't

I just called the dealership to make my appointment and there is a 6-8 weeks wait for the valve spring recall. They are going to call me sometime in December or January to schedule an appointment. The good thing is they will also do the cam gear tsib at the same time.
