Im still undecided, seems kinda cheap, but different. I might get some just to see since it's so cheap.

The interior is light grey, but the other parts are black. So maybe this one!

like i said, its my opinion and only that. you are free to mod the car the way you want. you asked for an opinion and i gave it. its your car, do what makes you happy with it.

real carbon fiber wrapping is pretty hard if you don't know what you're doing. I'm not really feeling the snake skin either, but it's your car

There's gotta be some other cool design to do besides wood and CF

Just keep in mind the wood trim has a finish on it that may become damages from the adhesive. So if you go to return the lease or sell the car you may have to pay for new trim because the wood is damaged. Not saying your kit will, but some adhesives can damage top coats.

If you're looking for something that feels like fabric psyspeed has some good stuff. Its a thicker cloth (maybe the thickness of a normal tshirt) with some good adhesive.

But since it is thicket it is harder to work into small spots. But its different and I love it. I helped my buddy wrap his trim (330i) with it. Only had some clumped at the edges (unavoidable since its a little thicker). It feels nothing like the normal 3M CF vinyl wrap you see everyone post up it is literally a fabric.

good luck

That's cool, but it's still CF. I want something nobody has done yet.

And ya, if I ruin the wood trim, then WORST CASE SCENARIO i get the CF Vinyl and wrap it.

I'm confused. You know what you linked in the OP is carbon fiber...it's just red.

Not saying its a bad choice haha, but when you say "it's still CF" I assume you're implying you want something total different, but your original plan is just CF in red.

You should go somewhere that has a Di-Noc sample book. There are all sorts of different patterns and colors avail, and all that stuff is adhesive backed so it's not as much of a pita to install. There is a pattern that I thought long and hard about using (won't say which), but it will be super difficult to line up on the 3 sections of the center console trim. Plus I am trying not to spend anymore money on my car...And ultimately I like the wood trim, it's glossy and adds class to the interior.

1. My original post is KEVLAR CF... not Red carbon fiber. The red is the Kevlar. But you can't find a Keval CF Vinyl, only the real material.

2. Where did you find a Di-NOC sample book?

3. Ya im not gunna do real CF on my car, too much work
