Question About Vinyl Wrapping...
I know that you can vinyl wrap the interior (WOOD TRIMS) for the shifter and window controls... but I want this unique red Kevlar / Carbon Fiber!
I can't find a vinyl of it, just the real thing...
So do you think if I get the adhesive for it, I can use the REAL thing as a wrap?

i could be wrong but you'll need some type of epoxy to cover the top of the fibers so its not just fabric.
working with it isnt really too difficult but you'll definitly want to practice on something first. i think the hardest part to figure out is how much hardner to add and how much time you have to work with it before it cures.

Hadener? If I stretch it flat and put glue on the plastic, shouldn't the fabric just dry on it within hours or however long...
I really want this fabric, cuz they don't make a vinyl like this. It's either bright red (which looks ricey) or black CF (which alot of peopel have)
The red black kevlar CF would go perfect with my MRM color

ive never done what your asking and im not sure if hot glue would work on cf strains. keep in mind, cf is not a solid piece, its a bunch of strains woven together. you could try a small piece and see how it works.

It is a good bit a work especially if you never worked with cf or even glass before. its also a pita to get the cloth to lay properly with no bubbles. you best bet may be to try your idea. get a small sample, doesnt even have to be the cf you want and try to hot glue it to something. i dont know how it will hold up over time though.

Ya parents said it would take alot of work and money.
My thing is, I want something cool like CF to wrap my interior plastics, but I want something nobody really has.
Everyone has wood or CF or Texalium... I want something else!

glue a bunch of coins to the trim pieces, bet no one has that
that will be a lot easier to work with. just get some 3m adhesive spray and you'll be good.
