damn that price is just for the harness. Adding the leds makes it $73 Thats steep i would get it, id rather upgrade my HID to 6500K

And to be honest man, i suggest u do some of the mods cuz its fun and most off u got something to look forward to
haha and since my IS is a 5 year lease.. i might give in to the mod bug very soon since 5 years is a pretty long time
but on the other hand.. my wedding is next year and that is one expensive investment that'll take up all my budget

@Alantjai - oh! the 8W v-leds aren't brighter than the stock bulbs? i heard they had an older version.. and the one that's on sale on the site is a newer version.. is this the version you have? perhaps it's the older one that isn't as bright?
but you're right, the LEDs i have on now probably caused me to loose some lighting

@silentwish

True, but u dont have to do it all at once. Maybe do 1 mod a month and your set budget wise. If its a real expensive one wait a few months to save up

For anyone asking about if it's brighter than stock in your reverse, I don't think it is. Granted, my tail lights are smoked, but the stock lights (despite not bring as bright) shine better onto the ground, which is really what's important.

For future reference you could have put the car in reverse with the engine off(bypass the shift lock) once the shirter is in reverse turn on the ignition only your reverse lights will be on.

Nice job. I didn't know it was possible to replace the reverse lights as some threads say its in a housing. Will have to open up trunk and take a look tonight.

B16da9! thanks for the tip! never thought of that! now that makes it possible to swap out my reverse lights on my own!

svntwosix, glad my post introduced a new mod to you
in the user manual, page 452 i believe, it tells you how to get to your reverse lights. you'll have to use some tools to pry out the tacks holding down the trunk cover. i used two flat heads to pry them out, they just come straight out after using some force.

thanks man! haha as i was saying to big.. i'm not sure when or if i'll have the money for a next mod (lol alrite that was some internet exposure for nextmod)
but i just realized i didn't get to my tints as i planned to! although i'd rather spend the $150 for tints on some other mods..

you know what buddy.. that would be so cool if CL members came to my wedding and have a fleet of IS with me as i go pick up the bride!!
that would be sooo epic!
