Default Headlights

My left headlight went out on my 06 IS350 I figuere no problem I have the extended Platinum warranty plan, bumper to bumper no deductible which I bought from Troy at Toyota at a great price. Than, the dealership woke me up. It does not cover the HID light bulbs and it is $300+ dollars. What? Does bumper to bumper means bumper to bumper? of course except tires...things that wear out but a lightbulb? Any suggestions, any one? By the way, I am getting the spring recall deal done and they told me the brake issues will have to wait no parts yet. Which is great they have been telling me that my brake fluid was cloudy. I presume they would have to change the fluid to fix the brake lines.

Light bulbs, as well as oil, filters, tires, shocks, brake discs & pads, etc are all wear and tear items. Sorry for your inconvenience. But there is alot of aftermarket bulbs you can purchase that are far less expensive than the dealer on the internet. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. It will probably take me a little bit of time but I should be able to replace the bulb. There are so many covers to remove. Lexusis350 Once I am ready to do my side view mirrors I will give you a call.
