Default non-ml, rear speakers and sub stopped working?

hey guys,

need alittle help on where to start cause i'm a noob to stereo issues. noticed the other day that my rear speakers and sub are not working. where should i start trouble shooting? was thinking about checking fuses, then maybe checking the amp and then checking the speakers themselves? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Default Rear Speakers not working

Ditto - I can hear low bass tones but the rear deck speakers are almost inaudible, BTW - this is not the levinson sound system. any clues, it's still under warranty so I'm going to take it in soon to have it checked.

Under warranty......just take it in. Otherwise start checking the fuses to make sure that something hasn't blown. Good Luck!

just out of curiosity, and to make sure you've covered all the simple solutions, have you checked the listening position? It is the P. Sel. button on the non-nav systems. if it is set to driver or front, then the rear speakers, and possibly the sub, would be very low volume, or even off completely.

thanks, I do have the preferences set to "all around' front and back. That was the first thing I checked. Not sure how long this has been like this as I only this past week actually rode around in the backseat for the first time since I purchased the car. That said I do recall that the rear was much more sonorous a while back. Thanks again. dave
