Well when you do the alignment basically everything doesnt matter cept the toe on this car. I always tell the dealer I want my toe to be 0 front and back, I don't care about camber or caster.
If they will let you redo it then why not, doesn't hurt.
When I wore my front tires inner edges flat in less than 15k miles, my front toe was about .3 degrees... it basically meant your front tires are pointing towards each other like this / / \ \ on a top down view.

not really a waste of money if you look at it. new suspension is installed which may alter the alignment. getting one done is sure a safe thing to do. either you spend some money on alignment or spend money on new tires. alignment is way cheaper! lol. i always tell me friends to get alignment if work is done on wheels/suspension work.
i have had something similar one time. got the alignment and it was about the same or it was just about off. i thought it was a waste of money but in the end, my tires did last a bit longer if i didnt have it done.
@mikez - thanks for the advice for the 0 degree toe.

Re-posting by lobuxracer because it's short and to the point
Front inside edge wear is toe out. Rear inside edge wear is toe in. Toe out in front helps the car turn in better. Toe in at the rear reduces understeer and helps the car turn. So, if the rear is wearing on the inside edges, you need less toe in which is the exact opposite of what you do for the front.
