This why sometimes I think having a luxary vehicle is not always great sometimes unless one is able to put their vehicle in a more secure location. In these cases, if one had their flunky car, they can leave it out there and would not really bother what happends to a certain extent, while their main car is safe.

i can't say i been in your situation because im always parked in a garage....however if i did see what you saw your right hell will break loose.....

one of my biggest pet peeves and my friends are very well aware is ....when we hanging out around my car someone always tends to lean against the car...i hate this....i would never do it to others even if they are the ****test cars....i been through so many cases where someone scratches my doors of body because of the buttons or metel pieces on their jeans.....on time on my older car (very well kept) one of my friend leaned against the front fender caved in....i had to go get it poped out.....he offered to pay for it..but im not one to take a few dollars from a friend when its unintentional.....

ALSO.......people who leaves drinks on the hood or trunk especially pop cans...arrghhh

i dunno im just picky!

Kids will be kids. You can blame society and the media for shaping kids arguably moreso than their parents do. Kid wants to be a badass 16yo smoking cigs he'll do it behind his parents' back. Something subconsciously in kids makes them want to go against what you tell them to do. Expect worse on your car. I knew kids from my high school who bragged about egging cars or tp'ing them. Parents well off and good people. Sure parents shape them to a certain extent, but their friends and media influence them more.

Calling the kids out was good so that they know what they were doing wasn't cool. Calling them out and knowing how much it pissed you off wasn't good for you because now they know what pushes your buttons. Showing weakness isn't right and you can't so much now besides wail on some 16 year old punks. Parents will probably tell them once never to do it again, but if anything happens it will be your word against the kids'.

You should try parking somewhere there are security cameras that you can access footage from.

Could just get jacked so they wouldn't want to eff with you haha. Can't do much now besides hope the kids dont want to get the sheet beaten out of them and deliver if they do.

In my days, if I did something not approved of, I got a whooping on my backside, at home or in public, with whatever object that was within reach. So if I ever thought about doing something that was questionable, I didn't.
Nowadays I don't think kids even get spanked anymore, so they can get away with whatever they want. Or their punishment is something like "no cellphone for the day".

I don't blame you, I probably would get pissed too
I've never been in this situation so I don't know if I would go to the parent or just talk to the kid.

I would be paranoid as hell after that though.
