Ya it looks pretty bad. I have 4 small dents on the side of my car and they want 1500.00 to fix. There's no paint damage or anything. I haven't had time to take it to a paintless dent removal guy, but hopefully he can just pop it out for alot less. Anyways good luck bro!

Doesn't look like its totaled. I would guess approximately ~10k to repair.

It has to be more than 70% before they total it in California. Not sure in any other states.

So if your car is worth 20k. It will have to be around 14k before the insurance totals it.

If they do end up repairing it... can I file a diminished value claim?

I doubt it if it's your fault.

if the repair cost > cost of the car, then the car is totalled.....

diminish value? some insurance company didnt even pay a dime for that....good luck and keep us posted....

Has to be over 75% of the value of the car to be totaled and that's about 10k in damage. You pushed in the radiator support BAD. I wish you had a pic of it with the hood popped. It depends how far back its buckled in. If it goes past a certain point, you need a whole front clip and if thats the case it's gonna be totaled

It depends on the shop... if you take it to a very good shop, they'll charge more.

I replaced my rear passenger door and it costs like $3000.

You have to replace bumper, hood, headlights, ... it won't be that cheap. Front frame was probably bent and radiator took some damage. My guess is that it will be at least 7K or higher.

Glad you are fine... I am not sure it's totalled, but I think it is up to the insurance co. to decide... Good luck...

I had a frontal accident on my IS before. Came to about $8000 where the hood, bumper, ONE fender and just about everything directly beneath it from replaced. Oh and the headlight too. Factoring that you have another damaged fender and another damaged headlight you're looking at a minimum of $10000 in damages before even digging into your grill, radiator support, etc. Honestly considering that your vehicle is between an 06-08 vehicle (I'm assuming more likely an 06? since your join date is 06) that it's totaled. Don't forget that the plastics underneath your car is damaged too so those will get replaced.

But hey! I could always be wrong. Let me know if you want to part some stuff out should it end up being totaled. I wouldn't mind say an extra ash tray
