you may want to double check to see if you got the same problem as the one posted on the youtude sticky solution ?. It seem tobe a common problem in hot area.

 

My dash and all four doors are melting in my is 2008. I tried contacting lexus but they can only do 50/50 and thats 2 grant out of pocket. I think they should pay for everything its a faulty product and my main concern is is there a health hazard from this.my son was driviong the car and he got so sick with the imune system and alopicia . I wonder where can I test the car for cemicals. Any sugestions please.thanks.


I had a cheaper car in same wether conditions and never had that problem .So its not the wether

Sticky/melted dash and door panel issue. When my nail hits it, leaves a deep mark. There is a recall for air bag,dash and the door panels, but there is a long waiting list. Lat year around April I was 699 and last month I was 469. What I see is going to take a few years to be replace it. Which made me think about not to buy another Lexus.Very disappointed.Unbelievably bad issue with an otherwise good car.I would appreciate any help or constructive comments how this can be replace.Thanks.
