Hey guys,

New member here. I bought a certified pre owned Black 07 IS 250 AWD with 25k on her back in August. So far ive been pretty satisfied with my new vehicle besides Thursday night hitting a pothole and having both my tires on my passenger tire blow out. I came from honda community which i had two modified EG's however i cannot modify my IS because i have agreed to a 3 year warranty. Im counting down the days now im actually thinking about purchasing my mods now and when my last day of the warranty is up just get everything put on lol. Just wanted to say hi and im glad to be apart of new car community.

Thanks

Welcome to CL! I'm under a 3 year CPO warranty as well (about 1 year into it). As you can tell from my signature, that hasn't stopped me from modding. Go for it! Most mods won't affect your warranty anyway per the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.

Welcome to Cl.....Like Brian said above. Go for it. You'll be limited to motor enhancements anyways ie.( intake, header, exhaust, midpipe). very minimal, but aesthetics are a different story. Have fun modding! Get coils FIRST! It'll be the single most satisfying "look" thing you can do. Check the classifieds for nice used items.

Well you guys have just made my day haha thank you. I was only going to do aesthetics for the time being. My only regret now is not registering to CL the day i bought the car because i would have had some mods on it already lol. I guess now i just need to know some sites so i start purchasing some mods. Thanks again guys.

^ Some good places to start:

CL Vendor and Member Classifieds.
http://www.lextuners.com/
http://is.sewellparts.com/
http://www.l-tunedparts.com/index.htm

Those are all the big ones I'm aware of. There's of course eBay and Craigslist but caveat emptor.

Welcome to CL! Enjoy your car, put up some pics!! There's not really that many options for motor mods, but go nuts with what you can! joe-z intake is a must, and some lowering, then wheels~

BCR coils or Megan Coils as they are the only ones available for the IS250 AWD, get these first, then wheels and a kit, i recommend the GFX kit if you're on a budget or a wald kit if you're ballin these two are my favorite but there are other nice ones also

Well i know you guys know what a stock IS looks like so i didnt want to waist your time looking at another new member stock IS. But i will post up a pic with my other baby (Honda CBR 1000RR). Im up in the Northeast so i will be def be dropping it in the spring after the snow fall and hopefully have my wheels by then.
