And in case you don't even know what throttle is -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Throttle
Not sure if you even are reading the topic we are talking about, but let's get you up to date:
- WOT on ECT Snow = Not optiminal because it will shift early so you don't get the last bit of the power band
- WOT on ECT Power = Not optiminal because it will shift late so you are hugging the power band too long
- WOT on normal = The computer will shift at the perfect point
So, if you got 3 identical cars with the same exact whp, you each put the car in different settings, you'll see that you will get different results. Use the search function, this has been discussed a lot of times already...
Wide open throttle. Applies to both nitro and electric models, although on electric models it is somewhat figurative. It just means that the throttle is at full.
what the hell is slower wot? slower wide open throttle? do you know what your talking about?

You have no idea what you're talking about.
For a 1/4 mile run (ie flooring it from a stop) the car will be faster in ECT-Normal.
This has been tested and verified with datalogging of the vehicle, and discussed numerous times with the data posted.
ECT-Power is useful in part-throttle situations like going on/off the gas in traffic. It's NOT useful for drag racing/speed runs.
If you'd care to take a minute and search you can find exactly what ECT-power does (directly from Lexus themselves, as it has been posted here several times by myself and others) and you can also find the WOT data showing NORMAL mode is faster.
Actually, here, lemme save you the time-
Graph of datalogging of Snow, Normal, and PWR modes showing that normal actually holds gears longest (additional data backing this up verifying that NORMAL produces the best 1/4 mile times is all over the board, you can search that up on your own)-

Details from Lexus TIS about what exactly ECT-PWR does (and doesn't) do for ya:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/3305550-post10.html
As you can see the only time PWR helps "accelerate" is if you are not already at WOT, and you're already in 4th or higher gear, and then you give it a lot of gas.
