Default clunk noise??

hello everyone, as u can see my SN i own a GS400. I recently purchase an IS250 for the wife. 2006 is250 awd with 70000. Lately we notice when in the car go in reverse out off the driveway and turn the steering wheel all the way, we hear a clunk noise or mayb a binding noise in the front end. I have a good friend mechanic test drove and checked out for me. He couldnt find anything serious, he said everything is tight in the front end, strut, tierod, ball joint. This thing driving crazy, please help. If any of guys had the same problem or similar solved, please let me know. Thanks

i had this problem as well, but not on my lexus...it was on the my integra back in the day. it clunked every time i turned a sharp corner or reversing while the steering wheel is turned. it turned out to be a worn down ball/joint or ball bearing....which then ruined the drive shaft....

sounds like yours have made it's way to the drive shaft. maybe have the mechanic check the drive shaft under the boot to see i the knuckles are worn down or not........
