I've been noticing an annoying creaking sound whenever I turn my car coming from the seat (driver seat). I've read somewhere that it's the seat's bolts loosening leading to this and I should be able to fix it myself with a 14 wrench. I can't locate the bolts though as its my first car and I've never really done any maintenance myself. Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Hey I had the same problem last week in my car. I don't know if it matters that it's a different model but I went on http://www.lexustsb.com/questions/17...T+SQUEAK+NOISE and downloaded the attachment. It gives step by step directions how to do it. You can take your seat out and look under it for the locating pins. It's the pins that slides into place to hold your seat in place when you bolt it on. All you have to do is get something to cut or saw off the pins and that squeaking sound will go away.

Before you try taking off your seat to cut off those locator pins, try simply tightening the seat rail bolts. I had the same squeak and found that all the seat rail bolts were loose. One of them was loose enough to turn by hand. After tightening, my seat hasn't squeaked since.
