Hi,
I am currently driving a 2006 IS350. Usually after turning off the engine, there seem be a smooth pressure releasing sound near the back the engine. I assume it is the exhaust gas or something related. Anyways, for the past couple days, after i turned off the engine, the pressure releasing sound becomes pulsed (pressure releasing sound, stops, pressure releasing sound again, stops again, and repeat). This is occuring after the valve spring recall and I am wondering if this recall or cold temperature, 6 degree celcius, can be the reason. And is it harmful to the engine?
thanks for your advises

(assuming the pressure release sound = pssssh)
The "sound" that pulsates sounds goes like this: "psssh, stops, psssssh, stops, pssssh, stops, and repeats until there are no more pressure.
The reason I asked because I dont want to be noob when I tell the dealer about the issue and they tell me it is normal.
Also, after the valve recall, my car began to make "ta ta ta ta ta ta" sounds near the throttle body part of the engine under idling and louder under acceleration. I know it is not the direct injection sound because even the lexus dealership's senior service tech said "it is different from the direct injection sound but dont know what it is".
So, i am wondering if exhaust valves or some type of valves is stuck which caused the problem.
thanks for your inputs
