I'm gonna go back to the dealership and have them appraise the car again. I want to know if the value they gave me included the aftermarket parts. Because, doesn't aftermarket parts lower the value of the car when you sell it the the dealer?
Yeah I had a great deal when I first got my is250. The dealership was ****ed up with bad service and everything, but I got a steal.

I love how everyone says jump on it. But when we find out it's an 06 is350 with 50k on the clock and the selling price is 30k, then it will all make sense. And I guarantee the appraisal you got did not include those parts you have on it. They probably didn't even notice 1/2 the stuff you mentioned

Noooo they didn't offer me any cars. They only had 1 is350 and it was an 06 with 70+ k miles. No way I would take it because my 250 has only 35k miles and a greater KBB value than that 350. Even if they give me cash+car I wouldn't take it. 06 is too old(no offense)

they didn't give me a quote for a new car. I'm not looking to buy a new car.
I prefer used cars to old cars.. just don't like the value of the car to drop by 100000% when I drive it out of the lot.
I think the value they gave me was for a trade in. I know for sure they will try and gain back some money from the car that they'll be selling me, and I am kinda looking around for other cars.
I also went to the Hyundai dealership with my friend as he wanted to trade his g35 for a Genesis coupe. I didn't drive the genesis b/c I don't fancy a stick. Pretty cheap.. 27k MSRP for a 3.8 Genesis 3.8L R-SPEC, but the interior is

An appraisal, what they will give you for trade in and actual cash value are 3 differrent things. If they know you are going to buy, they can move the numbers around and make it look like you actually made money on your car.
That said, a 350 over a 250 is a no brainer if you like power to the pavement.
