Default New owner, alarm help please!

Just purchased a used 2009 IS250 from a friend of my wife's. It has 70,000 miles on it. Having some major alarm issues right now and need help ASAP. Here's the scenario:

Wife went out to start the car today and couldn't get into the vehicle using the FOBs. I tried my FOB and her FOB and neither would allow me to get into the vehicle. Used the key from the FOB (pop the lock cover off) and opened the door. As soon as I started the car, the alarm started going off. Can't seem to figure out why the alarm keeps going off.

I can: roll down just my window from my door.
I can: roll down the passenger side window only from the passenger side door.
I can: roll down the rear windows from the rear doors only.
I cannot: roll down any other window from the driver side door.
I cannot: adjust the sideview mirrors using the switch.
I cannot: unlock or lock all doors using the door switch.

The alarm goes off as soon as I start the car.
The alarm goes off when I try to open the doors from inside the car (any door).

I have already removed the power to the battery for about 20 minutes. I have replaced the battery in both FOBs.

The car has 70,000 miles on it and is out of warranty so I'd prefer not to take my first trip to the dealership over this. I've called the friends we bought it from and they said they've never experienced anything like this.

PLEASE HELP!

The window issue is because the battery power was removed, they need to be reinitialized. Basically, just go to each window and roll it all the way down, the up and hold for a second or two.

As for the alarm, is the car responding to any of the buttons on the FOB? Are you able to start the car?

The car is not responding to any of the buttons on the FOB. The red light on the FOB lights up when buttons are pushed but the car does not respond at all. I just took it for a quick drive to see if I could shake whatever was wrong loose and it gets worse:

The rearview camera does not show.
The AFS light on the dash blinks continuously.
The blinkers do not work.
The wipers only work in high mode (low mode does not cause any wiper action).

I'm beginning to think this may be an electrical issue. Any suggestions?

OK, after calling the dealership I was able to solve the issue. Using the actual key, I locked/unlocked the driverside door three times then waited 45 seconds. This apparently resets the alarm system and all items now work.

Glad you were able to solve the issue. This is great to know should it happen to others. Thanks for sharing your experience and welcome to CL.

Not sure what caused it to act up in the first place to be honest. Thought it might have been the change in weather (70 degrees down to 45 degrees) but not sure why that would have effected the electrical/alarm system. The husband of the woman who we bought it from called the dealership and that's where he learned of the lock/unlock method. Crossing the fingers that the troubles don't resurface again later.

Something like that happened on my truck and that was because I had failed to shut off the alarm before I opened it and failed to turn it off before I tried to start it.

What the issue was there is that the truck thought it was being stolen and shut down everything.
