Swapping is 350 tailights for is-f ones
You guys who have done this, how do you remove the tailights? (I've searched in diy but couldn't find anything really helpful, maybe I didn't look in the right place) and is there anything I have to pay attention as far as wire harness? because from what I read somewhere, it's different, you have to cut some tabs on the connectors in order for it to fit, is that true? Really appreciate any help at all. Thanks

The IS-F tails are 100% plug and play. You just need the new harnesses, which should be included, and some turn signal bulbs. I think you're confusing these with the '09+ tails which do require some tab modifications to fit in the '06-'08 2IS.
Where in CA are you? If in NorCal, I can help you with the install.

brociouz,
As always, you're really helpful to us newbies, you must be right because I have a 07 so it shouldn't be any problem as far as connector and yes the is-f tailights I ordered do come with the harnesses as well as the amber bulbs for turn signal. I'm just trying to figure out how to remove the trunk lid cover to have access to the tailights without damaging the plastic retaining tabs. I sure appreciate your offer to help out, unfortunately I'm all the way south of you, in Orange County, it's a bit too long of a drive for both of us. If only you were down here, I can learn a lot of stuff in modding our ride from you.

Since you're not in NorCal, I'll try to give you an abridged DIY. I actually thought about doing a DIY because I remember searching for one when I got my IS-F tails and there isn't one out there, presumably because it's pretty simple. Anyway, here it goes.
