Blue, I got a set of Kumho I'Zen 27's winter tires for $1050 mounted balanced and installed from a local shop. I was going to go the usual route and get my tires from tire rack, but this actually worked out to be a wash after taxes, shipping and mounting. Blizzaks would have been $820 american shipped to my door before mounting charges which are roughly $150 bucks. PM me if you want to know where I got them. PS, Superbrino, i got my headlights and side mirrors 3M'd no problem so I'm not sure why your shop was having troubles?

I came from Blizzaks...I had them on my RWD Bimmer for 3 winters and thought they were great! I didn't hear much of these tires also, but on my 19's I ran with a set of Kumho Ecstas that I really liked in the summer. I didnt want to spend tons of money on a winter tire because I just bought a new car!...thats AWD and these looked like a great bargain. Not much snow to test out the tires, but with the little that we have its been absolutely perfect and it stops very well on ice. I can give you more feedback once it snows more but by then I'm sure you'll already want some tires
