hs250h loaner car, implementing features into is350
got a loaner car for 2 days. Coming from an IS350 wow the hs250h is super slow
But aside from power, I found out it had some awesome features. I was wondering if there is any way to get around in adding these features to my is350?
1. Bluetooth connection.
I am not talking about phone pairing to pick and hang up calls. I am talking about "CAR MULTIMEDIA" pairing where you can play music wire free!
2. USB attachment. I have an iphone4 and all i need is my cable to charge my phone and on top of that play music. (Note: I do have the vaistech but is there anyway to use an apple cable to plug it into usb?)
soon more to come lol. aside from being very disappointed with driving the hs250h, im liking the system they have in the navigation/audio.

It's the gen6 navigation you are referring to. 2010+ 2IS's have this newer navigationas well, wondering if anybody tried putting the gen 6 navigation unit into a 2IS that came with the gen5 navigation or one without navigation at all.

To get wirelesss bluetooth music streaming, you can simply just buy yourself a Bluetooth A2DP dongle that plugs into your Aux input in the armrest. This would do the exact same thing. Here is an example: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=190432282379

(EDIT: after thinking about this, bluetooth always works both ways, receives/transmits right? so You'd pair your mp3/iphone to the a2dp transmitter and pair the car to the transmitter? Trying to figure it out!)
Sorry to be a little OT, and possibly a stupid question
On a side note, I did not like the '09 hs250h when i got it as a loaner twice just an overall disappointment.

Isn't this an A2DP transmitter rather than a receiver? I'd likely buy this if it is a receiver as well, I hate that cord dangling out of my console all the time!

The HS loaner I had bluetooth pairing but it didn't work properly. It was real choppy and I never even listened to one complete song. Kept stopping to much... I was impressed with the car though... not for me at this point but I could see myself driving one in the future

I'd read the reviews before getting the dongle. Did a search on Amazon and number one complaint is battery life. People are saying that it is okay the first couple of charges but after awhile you only get a couple of hours at best then need to recharge and eventually the unit dies. Couldn't find another alternative via a quick google search.
