Default LC 818 + Tein S Techs = Shreading Tires

I know i have said this before, but now i HAVE to do something about this setup. My front tires are 235/35/19's.. I do not want to go back to FSport springs bc they didnt drop it enuff.. That being said. If i run 230/235s or even 230/30s. do you think that would cure the problem or am i going to have to fork over the money and get coils, which i dont really want to do???

I never heard of those tire sizes before, from my understanding the width always ends with the number 5. Unless if you are measuring it by inches.
Whats your current wheel offset?

Im running 8.5 +22 with a 225/35 slammed with about -2.5 camber. I really should have gone with 215/35 because i still rub.

You should take some pics and show us where your tires are shredding. its most likely the bumper that, you either have to remove it or shave it.

225/30 tire should help out and also search the forum there is a thread on shaving and relocating the tab that holds the bumper to the fender, thats usually where the rubbing occurs. you shouldnt have any problems with this set up. im running 225/35/20s and im ok.

You should get 225/35/19, that's the set up I'm using and I'm running +22 in the front the only problem i had was with the bumper tab. I'm also running s-tech. No rub only when i go through a real big dip. The next choice if that does not work is to get the front fender rolled.

225/35 is your best friend. And your tire shredding problems will be gone for good.

Depending on your drop, you might have to shave down the tab. However, you're just running springs, right? You shouldn't have any problems.

Check out the LC818 "Wheeldude Car of the Year" thread. I'm dropped on coils and have no issues whatsoever. My friend damaster32 is dropped even lower on coils and cut his tab. I think he only rubs at full turn.

We're both running 225/35 in the front.

Ur fronts are 235, that's actually my rear tire size. My fronts are 215, I like the stretched look.
