Can you explain this? I thought shaving gives you the most clearance, so why would you want to roll after shaving?

oh what! man its been a while since i've actually posted and been active on the forums...

from what i remember that edge of the fender is about half a inch? so you'll get half a inch more space? i cut mine to that wall so when you feel my fenders its just a wall, no edge. this is only for the rear
the front i rolled and melted the **** out of it... or at least as much as i could

^ i think phils talkin bout the front

Roll your fenders, relocate front tab and get skinnier tires. 275 in rear is not going to work if your going to be that low. 255/30 or 235/35 in rear and 215/35 or 225/30 in front should work.

MV350 should be all over this thread.

If I shave all the way down to the wall on the rear, and roll the fronts, will I be able to keep my current setup?

Shaving your 1/4 panel does give you more clearance but listen to what Phill said, if you wanna go to with more aggressive wheel later you wont be able to pull your fenders.
Shaving your fender also makes it weaker and it could rust.
What rolling does it compacts the fender so there is still some strength in it. Honestly i run 235/35/19 on my 9.5+22 and i even put a 5mm spacer to get some added flushness.

Long story short, I'm rubbing on flat surfaces going straight when hitting imperfections at 30mph in the rear.

I didn't think there was going to be a problem because I'm not dropped tooo much.

I DO NOT (can't actually) get newer smaller tires(quit work to finish school). Fender mods are a definite, I just don't know what kind(I'm a noob at fendor mods). Will good fender mods remedy my rubbing.

Also, my drive way is WHOLE other story. Impossible to go up now. Before with the same tires and sizes except the offsets were +38, and +45 didn't rub, even if I tried. My rear right tire was in the air spinning freely, why is this?

Can't fit my finger in between (rear)

i'm not an expert, so correct wherever i may be wrong.

you have two issues, as far as i see.

1. wheel/tire clearance
2. suspension load

the first issue is because of two issues: tires that are simply too wide and tall, and those +22 offsets. i have 8.5/9.5 +22's w/ 215/245 35-series tires, and i've had to roll my fenders AND modify the fender tabs to get maximum clearance (read: minimal rubbing).

the fact that you didn't have any fender work done means that your fenders are rubbing against the corner edge (and possibly the sidewall) of your tires. if you don't get fender work done, it's either the tires or the fender that's gonna go - if not both.

i recommend rolling all four corners, since rolling your fenders will very slightly pull the edge of the fenders out for a little bit more space. shaving is another option, but you better hope the guy that's doing it has a very steady hand (jagged fender = tire shredder). that, and i believe Phil888 has given you reason why you should consider rolling your fenders first.

i also recommend thinner tires. see the bottom of my post for what i can help you with.

second issue is the suspension load that's causing one corner to compress and the other to, well, un-compress. if you have aftermarket sway bars (that are thicker than stock), it's preventing the corner that's un-loaded to hike up in the air to compensate for the corner that is. it's part of suspension physics and i can't explain it well, but that's my guess.

if you need a referral for fender rolling services, i went to a guy in colton who rolled my fenders and MKSky's fenders (not to mention a lot of other cars) - and did a great job - while charging very competitive prices.

and if you need thinner tires, i've got a set of 19" pilot sport PS2's (235/35, 255/35) that have ~25% tread left on them that - if you want - i'll part with for cheap. they shoud tide you over until you need new tires.

you have springs, so your option for ride height are... uh... limited by the fact that you have fixed-ride height aftermarket springs.

PM me an offer for the the 255's. i'll even throw in the 235's if i like the offer that much.

Trading someone for F-Sports or any springs that have a less aggressive drop.

seriously, why spend the money to swap springs?

roll your fenders, get some narrower tires, mod your fender tabs, and call it a day.

Mv350 and i went down this road before, as he helped me fit my current set-up. i can almost guarantee that he'll tell you what i just said.

^^^^yoooooo i fit crazy **** with just a shave. one of those fitments being 19x10.5+22 with no pull

all i gotta ask is why such big tires. 275/30 on a 9.5 is over kill for a 350. 255/35 would have been better. 235/35 will give you best clearance, and 245/35 is what i would prefer on that setup after figuring out projectdna's wheel/tire combo.

This is the problem with this whole Flush/aggressive movement. It needs to be thought and wheel, tire, suspension ALL work together. Good luck with whatever you do.
