Seats are uncomfortable
I've owned my IS350 for about three years now, but up until a yr or so ago, I've noticed my seats to be uncomfortable for anything over 30 mins. Particularly, the butt piece. I don't feel the same type of annoyance in the back nor as much on the passenger side, so it must be that the seat foam for the driver's side has gotten packed down and no longer cushioning....am I the only one that thinks so? Or maybe I just have a skinny butt? o.O

Haven't had any pains with mine. And my back is trashed to begin with. If yours didn't bother you in the beginning, maybe it's the wear of the cushion kicking in. Haven't heard of too many seat issues with the IS.

They're not as comfortable on long trips as the seats in my Audi were, but they're more comfortable than most of the other cars I've owned. I've not noticed much (if any) degradation in comfort over the 5 years I've owned the car. If weather permits, I find the seat heaters help when the butt begins to get sore on a long trip.

I feel as tho the bottom portion of the seat (where it meets behind my knees) aren't high enough to support my legs, the Honda Accord that we also own goes all the way up. Prolly just me... lol
