Unhappy Question regarding LED Tails *Ebay /w Pics*

So recently I had my car hit in a parking lot and to my surprise It wasn't ever reported... SO I've had my 07 Is250 In the shop the past week getting the rear quarter panel fixed and repainted. The Driver side Tail light was also damaged and I figured now is the time to get those after market LED tails that i've been looking at for some time. So mean while the shops been reparing my baby and I received my tails last thursday. I dropped them off at the shop and they called me back the next day stating that the wiring harnesses didn't fit the application.

My question is for anybody with experience with these tails; Are the wiring harnesses below the wrong ones? I've been told by the vendor that these two harnesses are all I need to make this work... I noticed also that I don't have the socket as picture below (with red arrow) . The Scanned image is the documentation they sent me with the tails...

I guess this is what I get for going the cheaper route... Can anyone fill me in on this?

So the harnesses in my pictures above look like the same you had when you did the install? Only two came with mine... Do you remember if there were any extra wiring Im missing?

Also did your come with the sockets (pictured with the red arrow) Mine didn't....

How is this possible? Did you already have aftermarket tail lights already on your car? If I remember correcly the LED sockets are slightely differen't from the OEM wiring harness.......

ALSO: What year are your rides? I heard that the newer IS style tails use different Harnesses all together... Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks, D

Were the harnesses picture above the same you received when you got yours? Since your tails are the same as the 07 I'm trying to figure out where/what you tapped. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I have an 06' that had stock tails. I ordered the eBay led tails and it came with those harnesses pictured. I didn't have to use them. They were plug n play. Another member on here Hoovey2411 installed his in his 08' and a light stayed illuminated on his dash. Don't know if he ever repaired it. Good luck though.

Hmm I'm thinking this shop is full of **** then, I may have to do them myself... Only reason why I had them do it was because the original tail light was damaged and they said they'd put my aftermarkets on free so they can make sure the body work on the car lines up correcly with each side.......

But if you guys are saying that these 2 harnesses are exacly the ones you received then I'm at a lost of words why a body shop cannot seem to hook up some simple plug and play tail lights.

They were pretty simple to install, just really tight to work in. Maybe have them leave you the one old one on and test fit or install the led one. Leave the shop with one working tail light (oem one) and then install the led tails later. Just hope you don't get pulled over for a tail light out
