Default ISF Tails on IS 350/250

OK i have a 2008 IS 250 and i went to my dealer and asked if i could install ISF tails but they said that i could not because of wiring or something. I see everyone else with ISF tails and i want to know if my dealer is wrong or if you guys are doing something else.

I believe if you buy from Sewell, they have a relay availlable that you can use to install IS-F on IS250/350.

Your dealer lies. As long as you have the correct harness (which should come with the IS-F tails), it's a plug and play install.

I will make a DIY thread and post the link here shortly.

Where did you get $600 from? Forum vendor Nigel is selling for them $400, and sometimes they're even cheaper when sales pop up. http://www.nigel-jdmparts.com/is250350ftailights.html

I went this route myself...

Although I know most enthusiast would prefer the authentic look and feel of the ISF, I just couldn't see spending 160-200$ more on the ISF. Also the LED looks a bit more updated and a bit more eye catching to the NON-IS enthusiast.

Either way they all look good imo, I can only think of one pair of tail lights that look bad on our cars and thats the LED clear ones (see ebay) . For a tail light mod the Ebay LED looks terrific.

Keep in mind the OEM IS-F tail lights are also LEDs (except the turn signal and backup light). It's just a different design.

I know when you buy the IS-F tails it only comes with the outer section, does that mean that the trunk section of the IS-F and the 06-08 ISx50 are the same?
