Default Tires for stock 18"

I'm and idiot for not getting wheel alignments more often, now my front right is dead. I wont do that again.

18k miles is about average right?

So replace them with stock or better? Any suggestions would greatly aprpeciated.
I checked discounttiredirect and wow stock tires have low life expectancy.
Im alittle "spirited" in my driving

thanks guys

Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Better performance, longer lasting, cheaper.

18k is pretty low if you're not at a track once in a while or driving very aggressive. You'd have to be pretty spirited for that to be normal.

I got 44,000 from my Bridgestone potenza's that came stock. I switched to an all season (Continental DWS) because i'm not a spirited driver and wanted a smoother highway ride (65 miles round trip every day).

I will most likely go back to a high performance tire when the DWS's are gone.

Do you have a 250 or 350? If a 350, you can't rotate anyway.

Those, and a decent alignment with proper inflation, and you'll get a lot more than 18k and better handling, acceleration, and braking too

Alignment and/or under-inflation are what's wrong.

I'm at 16k and mine are about gone on the insides. Even with proper alignment, they still wear too fast. There's been some discussion already about how Lexus sets the alignment too much one way from the factory in order to gain extra cornering. The last alignment I had was to counter this (per CL recommendation), so I'm hoping to get the outsides to wear a little and save the balding insides.

How is the noise level with the Hankooks compared to the stock Bridgestones? Are they geared more toward an all-season style tread or more toward a sport tread? Do these tires tramline like the Bridgstones?

i got hankooks after my stocks went out. they perform better in every single way. btw, a possible reason why your right front tire might be wearing out faster is because you can take a faster left turn since its a wider turn. if that makes sense.

Car and Driver did a comparison test on performance tires and the Hankooks were one of the best tires tested, even compared to Michelin PS2's:

Thanks for the C&D article. I respect their testing and it looks like the Hankooks will be my replacement tire. Still not sure about the noise and tramlining though.
