I don't think there is a way to lock your doors after you start it, unless you do it manually I guess. But be careful because you can lock yourself out, there's a reason why you can't lock it after starting it.
Also there was a thread around here somewhere about warming up your car before you drive. Turns out the best way to warm up a car is to drive it right away and just drive slow and keep the revs low for the first 10-15min, don't idle it to warm it up. Unless I guess what you mean by warming up the car means you warming up the interior because it's cold in there...

When you try it out, please let us know how this works for you.
In my other cars, if I have my dog with me and I want to run into the store for a few minutes, I'll leave it running with the air conditioning on (I live in the South) and lock the doors with my spare key so the dog doesn't overheat.
I haven't tried this with my Lexus, but I'm sure I'll want to in the spring/summers since it's a black car.

It could be done, but it would involve popping off the LH lock cylinder cover and using the key insert to lock the door, then unlock it when you come back. I think that's the only way to do it, as I don't think you can use the "lock" button on the handle with the car running, and if you locked it from the inside switch then rolled up the window or something, I don't think the smart key "unlock" feature would work either...
Might want to try these things... lol.
