Are you in the market for a new car soon or something?

You will get your car soon! And it will be all worth it! I drove a 250AWD for a little over 2 years. It is a great car and did me very well. I just needed more powerz.

I've been reading your thread for the past few days but not today yet. Did you finally get the repo thing all taken care of?

I got a good deal for a few reasons:
1. I knew the dealership and previously bought there (the car that I will be trading in), so I had a good relationship with them.
2. I lived far away (8 hours round trip) from the dealership and made them aware of this.
3. I was prepared to walk away if I didn't get the deal I wanted.
4. I have always been impressed with the dealer. They seem to be genuinely caring and very professional about being fair on both sides. They don't want to take advantage of the buyer, nor do they want to do a firesale. I think this played a part into my deal.
Don't get me wrong, it took a lot of effort to get my deal and I actually did walk away once.

When we were looking at getting the IS 250 for my wife we went to the dealership We got the rx from and the first quote for a lease they gave us ended up being about $85 a month higher than the final one they gave us. We ended up finding a cherry used 2007 IS 250 AWD that too good deal to pass up somewhere else. I think that if you are patient and you are talking to the dealer near the end of the month you can always get a better deal.

Go to truecar.com...you can see what you should really be paying. For example, it is possible with some negotiating to get a 2011 IS350 that stickers for $45,099 all the way down to the invoice, which is $40,866. When you're shopping for a new car, one of your best bets is to email the internet sales departments of multiple dealerships in your area. This will be a huge advantage and puts the ball in your court as you negotiate. Also, if you're a returning Lexus customer, or trading in a Mercedes or BMW, Lexus sometimes offers an additional $1,000 incentive. On top of that, if you had a 2006-2008 IS350 that was part of the valve spring recall, you've probably received a letter for $1,500 bonus cash toward your next purchase or lease of a new Lexus vehicle. This can add up to big savings...in certain cases around $6,500 off the sticker of a new 2011 when you count the bonus cash.

As Calmike mentioned, you get some extra money if you are a returning customer. When I went to go pick up my car, I got an extra $600 back in cash due to that. So yeah, definitely make sure your dealer knows about it.
