I am looking onto the F sport springs for my 2007 is250 X pkg. I have been told that the catalog calls for the PTR07-53080. But there have been posts about those being recalled for a clunking noise problem and were replaced with the PTR07-53090 springs. The dealer said that part # is actually the application for the convertible. But the convertble should take the 53100. So what is the right spring? cause I have a set of the 53080 in box not installed yet..![Uhh...](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/1387914497.gif)

Or in many cases downgrade to coils because many coils have inferior shock components (needing rebuilds just as frequently if not more frequently than stock shocks).

I purchased F-Sport Sway Bars from Sewell for $430 (tax/shipping) and had it installed at my local dealership for $250 back in June 2010. I think they spent about 2 hrs to swap it out.
I recently had the F-Sport Shocks and Springs purchased and installed at my local dealership for a grand total of $1,400 (parts, taxes, labor, and alignment). I think they spent about 4 hrs for labor (at least that's what they told me). I think $1,400 is a decent price for a dealership, considering the MSRP of the parts cost $1040 alone before taxes (springs $299, shocks $740) The only reason why I had it done at the dealership is for warranty purposes (car is 2010 model) and I don't think there's any other aftermarket parts available for the IS convertible yet.
Hope this helps!
