now about how the car looks? 97sc300 is correct~ i've seen PLENTY ridiculous stuff from various ppl here already~ how we build cars in one region might not be the same as how others build in other regions~

I politely asked the owner of the auction to explain himself (about the f-sport ecu upgrade) and to remove the description if it was false. (which it is).

he of course tells me that everything was done by a dealership and blah blah blah. He never admitted to trying to include a modification that doesnt even exist.

Everyone's giving him crap not because of how his car looks (well maybe that's part of it) but because of his description. First of all there's no way he "closed the gap" between an IS-F and that IS350 by installing an intake & exhaust (and a "computer" lol). Secondly, those prices are WAY over exaggarated. And lastly, he is asking a ridiculous price for a 2008 with over 40k miles on the odometer. The guy is really something.

The car is modded in a very unique way. It does look like there were a lot of work done on it. I am sure it looked great to the seller and it was something he was trying to achieve.

This Lexus IS350 was customized by a dealership in Florida some time ago, they did put a lot of money into modifying it to the way it is.

I've personally met the owner of the car, the one who bought it off of the dealership. He said it cost close to 100k in the auction when it sold, and he bought it because he liked that the car was different from the other IS's. He liked the two tone color, and that everything was already done with the car. So I guess you can say I'm the only one on CL that's ever actually seen the car in person, at least I think I'm the only one? The owner is actually a pretty chill guy.
