My new white on white with graphites
This is the first car i took ownership of (well, a lease). sure beats a metrocard in NYC. It took me forever to find a non-AWD in NY-metro area, but i finally found one, which had been sitting on the lot for 4 months.
starfire on ecru with silver trim. the only option the car had was 18" liquid graphites. very, very sporty. got the thing for WELL under 400/mo w taxes and down pmt rolled in. the least PMTs beat out G37s and C300 by almost 200/mo! the setup is perfect for a miami relocation. couldnt be happier.
here are some shots of the ecru (not mine)
the only thing is that im going to be a crazed maniac over the upkeep of the interior. EVERYTHING is white, unlike the 06-09 cashmere, which had black door elbow rests, center console, etc.
mods to include: lip spoiler, replaced halogen bulbs, yellow fog vinyls, yellow drls, red outs, and either white or black plasti-dip emblems and grille. (depending on how well the white plasti-dip matches the paint)
also, i have no idea how to go about tinting it. dont wanna do black, as only something super dark would get the job done. im thinking of going with a light ceramic, or suntek blue. thoughts?

i love the interior. at least you don't have to worry about the carpet as much -- the light tan carpet that's part of the 06-09/10? cashmere interiors is such a pain to keep clean and i am a freak about my interior.

haha. all of my new yorker friends have been calling me don juan, miami vice, etc etc. because i got a white on white lexus to relocate down to miami. haha! but that's just what the dealer had sitting there...in all honesty tho, im really feeling the interior, esp. b/c its just a lease and i dont have to deal with long term mishaps.

haha.
so what should i tint this thing?
its basically all white, with dark silver metal inserts (in lieu of wood) with dark graphite wheels. a light reflective ceramic tint may be fitting? or maybe Suntek Blue? thoughts? i cant decide if the blue will look cheesy, or become annoying to constantly look though.

Nice interior! I was looking at a CPO 2010 IS250 with the same white interior, and when I sat in the car I left some nice smudges from my fairly new, dark-blue coloured Evisus. Oops.
Starfire is a beautiful exterior colour though.

thats ecru? it does look very white. i have a black interior now on my lease and on my next car which i plan to buy, i want to go with a white interior... dont know if it'll be a good idea cuz it gets dirty quickly. but anyways, i thought light gray was closest to a "white interior". i always found ecru to be more on the beige side? but in those pics, it looks very "white like"....
between ecru and light gray, which is more of a white interior? anyone with pics, please share... would be greatly appreciated!

Nice pick up. Personally I'd never have a white interior due to its upkeep but it looks great. Tip for the future, Leather Masters is a great choice to remove any color transfer from your jeans

take my word for it - compared to other mass manufacturers, the ecru seems like the closest thing you could get to a white in the absence of special orders. as a matter of fact, most onlookers are surprised that my car's interior was stock - or at least an available interior color offered by lexus.

My homie James VIPDOUT.com and Club Lexus member tinted his ride with a 50% Mercedes Benz Llumar tint in So Cal. Looks clean and different from his old 5%.
