Default brakes or abs?

So my area got 7 inches of snow. I went out a little today after the main cleanup was all done. As i was slowing down (was going like 10) my brakes starting doing a jerking feeling and eventually stopped. I already had an appt this wk to change brake and rotors, just missed getting new brakes before the 1st snow. Anyway, from experience, would this service solve this or is it possibly my ABS system? I have 2006 250awd. I also got my tires checked and was told I can wait.

If you felt a quick pulsing of the brake pedal, it was most likely your ABS system engaging. Maybe cause the roadway was slick. If you feel the vibrating of the steering wheel and pedal, that may be your rotors are warped.

i actually had this problem too... but i realize it was just my abs kicking in.. like the jerks are rather insane at points even at low speeds. my 2 cents is just pump the brakes numerous times to get the car to slow down instead.

If it's just the quick pulsating, then it's the ABS working. nothing wrong with it. That's the way it's designed.
