Well, I've owned several b-series swapped honda's and I will admit that i was fairly disappointed with my IS250's quickness. I should have held out for a 350 but I've learned to live with it. It has decent power. But I wish I had that 350's power when some punk kid in a primered hatch does a ricer fly by lol

Am i the only one who doesnt understand this mentality? We drive a 4-door entry level sport luxury car. I will forever not understand why people feel embarrassed if some tacky 15-yr old honda is faster, or why anyone brings up what crap kia, hyundai, scion, etc is faster or can be more easily modded to be faster than our 2IS's. These cars arent race cars, theres no need to feel ashamed of the power of the is250, and unless you are an immature teenager on the street, no one will point and laugh because your car isnt "fast".

The average car gets from 0 to 60 in 8.95 seconds. By that metric the IS250 is comfortably above average.

The IS350's 0 to 60 in 4.9 seconds is stupidly powerful for daily driving. It's not needed, at least down here in Texas. It's certainly fun. It's exhilirating and thrilling to punch it every now and then. But it's far from necessary.

i came from a supercharged g35 with 400hp and obviously this is way underpowered but i think it looks more classy and luxurious and it does the job for me.

WTF!!! I can't believe some of you guys still going at it.

I'm so glad I got an IS250 instead - a car that's driven by down to earth people.

Cause after reading more comments from IS350 owners. I seriously feel some of you guys have huge egos to go with your IS350.

It's really unfortunate thats the message that came across (to me at least) considering they both look the same. Rather than supporting each other, some prefer to disrespect, over what...100+hp?

Anyway, the message has come through loud and clear. The IS350 is faster than an IS250, and a Echo is faster than an IS250. So what's the point again? That's right...to buy a car that is capable of beating a little boy in his rice rocket, yet alone killing someone or yourself along the way. Now I know why I bought a car.
