Default Gift Card for 2007 IS350

Is lexus giving a $500 gift card to all owners who had the recall service done?

YOu have to have the extended warranty through lexus and then go get the valve spring recall done.

+1 only Certain 350's that are part of the valve spring recall.

False.

I do not have the extended warranty and I have yet to get the recall done and I have already received the card. They just sent it to me in the mail.

wow really. I was told by lexus if you have the extended warranty and have the re-call you get the card. If you do not have the extended warranty then you get an extended power train warranty. Looks like the confusion continues.

this sounds correct they told me I was automatically getting the warranty cuz i had no warranty on file so wat i had to do was send a fax with the contract of my aftermarket warranty (max care) so they could put it on the system then be able to send me a gift card instead...i faxed the papers going to wait like a week and call again to see. Really can not wait for it already know exactly where those $500 gonna go in Sewell jajajaja

That sounds a little bit absurd. A few months back I got a notice that I would be receiving a gift card in the mail. 2-3 months after, I received it. I never called anyone and I never purchased an extended warranty and I booked my appointment for the recall a few days ago.

Carlos, maybe the prev owner of your car bought an extended warranty. The gift card was for people that already had the extended warranty. I got the extended warranty but I didn't get a gift card ether.

I'm the only/original owner of the car. It was financed and it's already paid for. As far as I'm concerned, if you were part of the valve spring recall, you got the gift card.

Default Just spoke to LEXUS CORP. Every valvespring recall elgible IS350 owner gets $500 GC!!

So lexus corp says that EVERYONE who is eligible for the valvespring recall is now getting the $500 gift card. They are mailing them out end of Feb. They originally were only giving them to people who already had extended warranties but now everyone gets it!! So SEWELL better prepare for a huge month in sales next month!!!

It doesnt matter if you've gotten the recall done yet or not either, you still get it AND the extended powertrain warranty.

***EDIT*** Just saw this on the GS board, this may be why some people are being told different things...

EDIT, I GOT OWNED!!
Just called back. Turns out the previous owner had an extended warranty which did NOT xfer to me when I bought it so I'm not getting it. So the guy I spoke to apologized and said he made a mistake.

All I have is the 6 year/100k powertrain warranty. Well its 2 years extended from when my original 4 year ended so I'm covered until 11/12. Bah, I guess its better then nothing.
