Someone just told me that they aren't allowed to move other cars around the repo car. I guess that's not true?

I might just drive it over to a friends house tonight and leave it there till Monday.

I'm seeing a whole bunch of people who say repo guys can not move cars to get to the repo car.

I have 5 cars in my driveway plus a boat and two jetskis. LOL.

im so lost in the story but gl with everything. Very exciting indeed.

Im assuming your friend didnt make his payments so they are going after the car? Doesnt that mean you are liable for the payments that are past due? just take off the license plates.

His plates are long gone.

He's 3 months overdue as of today.

If I could find someone with a garage I'd be all set!

In CA I don't think they can move cars from watchin operation repo a couple times... if you have a gate at your house lock it inside there... from watching the show they are not allowed to go in if its locked. Jus don't park it on the street and your good. This is hella funny.

The one positive here, is that if they get the car, the check is already on its way to lexus.

I'd assume they would not cash the check right?

Default Do you have Lexus Enform

Can't Lexus use the GPS or their version of OnStar to find your car?

With friends like that you don't need enemies. This will not be resolved Monday, imo.

I would bet they cash it, and then it would probably take awhile to get the money back. ...it shouldn't work that way, but just my experience with these types of situations and communication with different departments.

My cousin was the king of Repos, he hid cars for over a year from those guys.
Use a garage, block the car with any other car, if the car is on private property, they have NO right to take the car.

Another idea, swap cars with a friend or relative in which they have no information for. (not a co-signer or reference or work, etc)

Goodluck! and im Subscribed also

As long as they don't send it back to him I'll be fine with that. Put it right back in the accounts that it came from.

I can deal with missing this money for a month or so..

yea, it'd be easier if the car was registered lol. I can't even legally drive it on the roads here!
