Well this morning I took the task of installing my iPod interface Kit I got. What a task! Once you start taking parts of your brand new dash is when I got the second thoughts but I kept going.
First with the center of the dash and kept going taking out all the way to the glove box.
Most of it was very straight forward but a lot of cables to disconnect and keep inventory of them.
But yeah the Air Vents in the center of the dash is where all came to a halt.
Easy as it is just to unclip those 4 clips but they did not want to unclip.
Thanks God SEWELL has the instructions posted on their site but still with that I could not find the right screwdriver to unclip those suckers.
Well I took a few minutes break and on to it again and finally got it out with no damage, Thank God.
The kit comes with everything you need and I started to install all of it after just 30 minutes of taking things apart. Drill the hole on the glove box and reinstall everything back to how it was making sure everything lines up correctly like factory.
Got the battery hooked up and viola!! Music.....Check that everything I disconnected was working again and tight everything back to factory torque specs and Now I am loving it. No more opening the armrest to work on the iPod and a lot better sound.
Now!! What else I can do to this little piece of art that I have for a
High in the list is:
Front lip from GFX/ Ordered
FSport Cold Air Intake/ Done updated
FSport Exhaust/Working on it
FSport Brakes front and Back
FSport Swaybar kit front and back
FSport Shift ****/ Done Updated
FSport Chassis Brace/ Soon to be order
