Default New Member - 2006 IS250 AWD

Just got this car about 3 weeks ago, it's a 2006 IS250 AWD. I'm lazy and haven't taken off the dealership crap yet, so excuse that in the pictures.

I just did the HID swap for the lows today (thanks to the install guide on this site), and my 10000k fogs are on the way.

When I got the car it had some performance tires on it, but it's winter and I'm in Colorado so it's sitting on 4 brand new Eagle GT's for now. I want to get some wheels on the car when spring/summer comes around, but I want to do some reading up on wheels (sizes, width, etc.) first.

Some of the features I think I know of:
-Navigation
-Park assist
-Satellite Radio (somehow is activated even though I'm not paying for it, I take this as a bonus.)

Maybe you guys can help me identify the full set of packages?

Upgrades in mind:
- Vossen VVS-084 Black-Machined Lip

- F-Sport Intake

- F-Sport Exhaust
- Low-Beam 10000k HID Swap (Installed)
- DRL LED Swap (Ordered)
- Foglight 10000k HID Swap (Ordered)

Maybe some more as I think of them.

Anyway, love this site has been a ton of help already (stupid brake pedal dance), and I'm looking forward to being a member!

Welcome to CL and congrats on your new ride, about the Satellite Radio it could be a promo from the dealer or just it was never deactivated by the previous owner....and about the 10000k fogs, isnt than purple? most people here dont get anything higher than 8000k. What kevlar rating are the low beams than you put it?

The low beams are 10000k as well. I really dig the blueish/purple look, and I've noticed it turns a lot of heads. Lol

Here's the best pictures I could take showing the color of the lights:

Welcome, another awd to our awd club

What color is your car? I have the same interior color combo with a black sapphire exterior.

Oh yeah, dont forget to lower if youre going to get new rims, it just looks better.

The exterior color code is 202 (Black Onyx), Trim Code LA04 (whatever that is?)

Just about done with the lights.. I've replaced the DRL's with the 68-LED kit. The fogs should be in tomorrow and I think that's about all I'm gonna do for lighting (for now).

I'm sure someone will point it out, but yes I have disabled the parking light for now. I haven't ordered a white replacement and it made the DRL's look like crap with the ugly yellow reflection blending.

For the record, the 68-LED kit was ordered from ijdmtoy.com, and one of the modules was bad.. It started smoking the second I turned it on, and caused the LED to flicker. Currently, to keep the LED's from flickering I have to drive with the high beam on (module removed).

I have e-mailed them regarding the issue last night, and have not received a reply as of yet. I'll give them another 48 hours to respond before I start the charge back process on my credit card.

Can't you just remove the LED and/or put back the old one? Running with highbeams can be annoying to other drivers.

The LEDs replace the high beam, putting on the "high beam" just sets constant voltage as far as I can tell and stops the flickering.

I still have not heard back from ijdmtoy about this order, am going to e-mail them again to let them know of my intent to recover my money.
