So I have had my 06 IS350 for 2 1/2 years now. My wife insists the interior is black, but it is not, it is midnight blue. I can not find midnight blue ever offered.

It is definitely not black black, to me it is dark blue.

It has the sports package but no luxury package. The exterior is 1G1 Tungsten Pearl and has heated/ventilated seats if that matters.

I think you're wife is right. When I was looking for an isx50 I didn't think they offered a midnight blue.

I can see where its throwing you a curve ball, the black leather in our cars is not a deep black at all. Stand your ground though, dont ever let her know she's right

Never let her know she is right, but she is.

You might want to check the following website out to test your vision. Not doubting you, but this is how I found out I was colorblind. I also have problems differing between black and midnight blue.

So I guess this means the F-Sport Black mats and shifter will look good, I thought they would look off due to the color difference.

Deny till you die. It's black dude. But to ensure your victory against the fairer sex, tell her that lexus uses blue and navy dyes to get to black. That's why your laser eyes can see blue in there.
