Saw a couple of new IS's the other day at the dealer and noticed that the front center console pad is the same color as the seats. Looked at the used vehicles and noticed the same.

Mine is not! My front console is black but my seats are light gray (almost white), while the back one is the light gray

Does anybody else have non matching consoles/seats?

You're the perfect person to ask! Hey are you at work right now? Can you go check the cars for me? The cars you've seen with black centers have the light seats? I saw an 07 Sage green one (really pretty color) at the dealer with the light interior and light center.

ive noticed this. i think it had to do with the year of the car. 09 ecru interiors have more light colored pieces than its predecessor, cashmere.

on mine, center console top/dashboard is black, lower (knee panel) is gray exactly like the pic below. So my guess is since yours was special ordered to have Alpine white leather (only available in ISF I think); (you even have the cruise radar), that's why your front console and the knee panel are in color black.

My knee panels are gray (or white) and I think my interior is gray (I swore it's white) but the center console pad where the driver would put their right elbow is black. And I also noticed that the door panel where the passenger would put their right elbow is black, but the lower half of the door is gray (or white).

maybe the dealership swapped it out cause the oringal was damaged?

the pad should be the same colour as the leather seats.


i have everything black. but my seats are black with white stitching and the pad is black with white stitching.

The original owner had it for 9 months. I don't think it was damaged, this car was pristine. And it was also a special order. But damage could be a possibility although I don't know why it would be swapped for a different color. And that doesn't explain the door panels. Its not on it's history of service. I'm just trying to find out if my car is .....different.

I'll see if I can get a picture up by tomorrow.

Before I bought my black interior GFM is250. I checked out a GFM is350 with gray interior and it also had a black armrest. It was an 08, so maybe it has something to do with the year it was made?

My interior is exactly the same as the pic that quang posted. It should be the same as the seat colour as others mentioned.
